About Sarah
I founded Gaselee & Co in 2012 with the aim of assisting creative entrepreneurs, small companies, and individuals in managing their financial affairs. Frustrated by the common complaint among creatives that large impersonal accountancy firms just don't understand, I made the decision to establish an accountancy service that is both flexible and tailored to the unique needs of the creative industry.
With over 25 years of experience as a Chartered Accountant, I began my career in a small firm where I gained a profound understanding of small businesses and the personal tax affairs of entrepreneurs. Transitioning to a larger French accountancy practice, I specialized in working with French and Spanish companies, utilizing my proficiency in French, Spanish, and Portuguese. In Barcelona, Spain, I set up an 'English Desk,' aiding British companies in entering the Spanish market and providing external audit services to Spanish companies.
My journey continued as I entered the world of my clients, focusing on retail. I worked for luxury retailer Burberry and later in retail banking for Lloyds Banking Group and Banco do Brasil, with assignments spanning the UK, Spain, and Portugal. Drawing from my extensive experience in both practice and industry, I take pleasure in sharing my unique insights with my clients.

About David
David has a wealth of practical experience to support our small business and personal clients, both as a former entrepreneur, and through his experience of retail, small business and commercial banking.
David holds a geography degree from the University of Cambridge, a BSc in Financial Services from UMIST, and a post graduate diploma in management from the Open University. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and the Association of Taxation Technicians.
His particular interests are cash flow planning, and tax efficient profit extraction from small businesses.
